Focus on housing retention

Mac Lyons, Coordinated Entry director, and Ziona Brownlow, healthcare integration director, are seen in April outside of the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness office. They will lead the new Housing Retention Case Conferencing.

Our community has a new way to help our neighbors who have been housed, stay housed.

Service providers who work in housing now have a collaborative meeting to connect with colleagues across organizations who are doing similar work. The meetings will feature a guest speaker from a housing resource, other resources and best practices. Then the group will move into a discussion of individual cases for agencies that receive referrals from the Coordinated Entry system into their permanent housing program AND want to talk about specifics.

The first Housing Retention Case Conferencing is set for April 30, with the event repeating on the last Tuesday of the month.

Watch your email for an invitation if your work involves keeping people housed. Reach out to Mac Lyons at mlyons@aceh.org with questions.
