Houseless Resource Advocacy Council (HRAC) Meeting: CoC HPRS Advisory Council

This committee brings lived experience perspectives into homeless system planning and governance. It provides a trusted space for authentic engagement, advises on policies and system practices, promotes civic participation, and recruits diverse voices, including youth, to strengthen collaboration between service providers and people with lived experience.

This committee supports the annual Anchorage gap analysis and community prioritization process, including the implementation of Anchored Home and other community initiatives, to engage individuals with lived homelessness experience and front-line staff in the process.

This committee directs the strategy and monitoring of related community initiatives. The committee tracks trends in data and shares analysis with the Advisory Council, focusing on the HUD System Performance Measures and Built for Zero data.

This committee oversees community policy, governance, and HUD compliance within the homeless response system. The committee monitors compliance with CoC standards and funded projects, reviews and updates policies and procedures, recommends best practices and oversees the annual Rank & Review process for HUD CoC grants.

The Anchorage Continuum of Care Homeless Prevention & Response System (HPRS) Advisory Council will hold its quarterly meeting to discuss relevant Anchorage Continuum of Care initiatives and current events. This meeting will also be recorded for meeting minutes and record-keeping purposes.
