Houseless Resource Advocacy Council (HRAC) Meeting: CoC HPRS Advisory Council

The Houseless Resource Advocacy Council, or HRAC, committee brings lived experience perspectives into homeless system planning and governance. It provides a trusted space for authentic engagement, advises on policies and system practices, promotes civic participation, and recruits diverse voices, from young adults to elders, to strengthen collaboration between service providers and people with lived experience.

• Creates a trusted forum for individuals with lived experience to heal, engage and provide authentic contributions without the influence of provider incentives.

• Advises on policy, funding and system feedback to ensure alignment with effective practices for those navigating the system while empowering civic participation in public forums.

• Recruits and retains diverse members, from youth voices to elders, and institutionalizes regular input from lived experiences into governance and cross-committee collaboration.

This meeting occurs twice a month on the second and fourth Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Community members are welcome to join.
