Street Outreach

Help us show up for our neighbors

Every week, our team is out in Anchorage—bringing essentials, warmth and hope to people experiencing homelessness. Your support keeps us going.

What we do

What does outreach look like?

The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness and our partners host outreach pop-ups and visit camps across the city, offering:

Food and snacks
Warm gear like gloves, socks and blankets
Hygiene kits and first aid supplies
Information on resources

How you can help

Volunteer to make outreach kits

Host your own outreach kit event!

Bring your workplace, faith group or friends together to make an impact. We’ll walk you through it—from what to include to where to drop off your completed kits.

From the field…

“Outreach is about dignity, trust, and human connection. We don’t just hand out supplies—we meet people where they are.”

Zach Zears, Coordinated Entry Specialist

Coordinated Entry assessments and updates are provided to help people get on the path to housing referrals.
